If we want change in our lives we have to change things in our lives.
If we want change in this world we have to change things in this world.
Change is rarely easy.
We have to distance ourselves from destructive things and the people who condone them.
Those people are often ones we have grown to love and depend on and may even be our family members.
So we have to reach for new relationships with productive people and maybe mend old relationships. This is often uncomfortable.
Most importantly we have to be willing to change the way we think.

Holding ourselves accountable requires deep inner strength. Once someone is strong enough to hold themselves accountable it becomes their duty to help someone else. Otherwise the change stops with them. And eventually the change will default.
Change is like a chain reaction. It can happen quickly and spread around the globe as fast as a satellite signal.
For better or worse WE are the instruments of change.
A force of nature.
